The Cologne House Has An Offer

Finally we got an offer, we dropped the price again knowing we'd most likely break even or loose money. But we are happy that it's out of our hands in this kind of market. It could have been a lot worse, so we'll lose a some money on this one. That's okay, we just took a very expensive Flipping 101 class that's all. Next time in a year or so when the market is better we'll try again, Jeff really wants this to work out, he loves doing it. So now it will be all the inspections and hopefully they won't want too much fixed, it's practically a new house except for the troublesome old basement. We feel like a weight's been lifted with the offer, it all started out great then kind of spiraled, we had an electrical set back then when we put it on the market, we had all that rain here and it started causing hydrostatic pressure in the basement so there were some puddles when we were first getting showings so that was the number one complaint other than that we had great comments on the house. We fixed that issue for the most part and no showings, so 2 price drops later and we have an offer and can finally breathe again.

Here we go again

So Aidan & Collin have now successfully broken 2 37 Inch TV's. The first one broke because they kept turning it off & on. The last one broke because they have a spitting problem and spit their drink & snack chewed up into it. So no more snacks at all in the living room, should have enforced that one a while ago. Anyway we have now a tiny 13 inch TV to watch until we figure out if we can get the TV repaired. We do have binoculars though so we can see it from the couch. Boys are so wild! I hope it's not just my boys that are this wild or I'm in trouble for the next 18 years.

Another TV addict

Dominic has already mastered the art of crying until he gets what he wants at 3 months old. He will cry and cry and we will do everything trying to figure out what he wants, it's the same thing almost every time, we step outside and he's quiet, we walk him around for a few minutes then he's okay to go back inside. So he was doing his usual crying and I was about to take him outside, walking past the TV and he suddenly stops crying and I notice he's watching TV. So now he wants to watch TV, this is just great, another TV addict, I'm okay with it at this point, I can get something done like dinner started or put some laundry away. Hopefully it won't get to the point of knowing which shows are on when and getting all upset because he's going to miss a show like Aidan does, that's no fun for us to deal with.

A few new photo's

Collin really does enjoy eating mud
We can finally see Alex's eye's again - he got a hair cut
Notice the cell phone in hand? Usually we only see the top of his head as he likes to text to friends ALOT, Constantly! So this was a very nice Sunday to get a photo of his new do :)

Because they would not be my kids if their hair was not a crazy color once in a while

It has started

Tonight it finally happened. Aidan asked for a pet, not only asked for a pet bunny but cried because we said no and begging that he'd take care of it. For those that know me you know how I always was when I was young, always begging for cats, crying and eventually taking in strays or hiding cats in my room until I was caught. I thought this day would come when we'd have our children asking for pets and us telling them No. Now with my own children I finally know why my parents did not want me having animals around, it's one more thing to take care of in an already chaotic life. I guess I didn't expect the pet thing this soon.

This will be for udpates on how he is doing and how we are managing his condition.
Finally decided to do a blog, I'll try to update as much as possible in between feeds, diaper changes, cleaning up poo and pee off my floor from Collin and trying to keep the boys out of trouble.
